1000 Fan Giveaway - Sweet Sapling & Mud Butt Cloth Diapers

We're finally here.  Nearly the last 28 hours of this giveaway.  I'm sure you are all terribly tired of seeing all the posts but this has truly been a HUGE milestone for me and my business.  Again, I would like to thank everyone who has supported Butterfly Designs over the last three years and also a big thanks goes out to the sponsors who participated in this giveaway.  It's so amazing to have a network of friends and a community of handmade businesses who support each other as we grow.

At the end of this post, I will announce the bonus entry that everyone can earn.  It's going to be more involved than just a single click but I hope that it'll be worth it.  You never know, it could be the entry that wins you that prize you've had your eye on.

Now, I'd love to introduce you to Sweet Sapling.

Sweet Sapling is a local (to me) home run business run by Christina.  She is truly passionate about what she does so I would like to use her words.

She writes:

I adore creating beautiful things and I love to sew! As a child I was drawing out patterns from quilting books and sorting a collection of buttons from an old coffee tin. Having an extremely creative Mother and Grandmother led me to see a life overflowing with creativity. I am drawn to playful and bright colors as you will see and a love for all things girly.

My desire is to provide you with nothing but the best! It's what I give to my own daughter and it gives me great joy to pass on each beautifully handmade piece to your daughter, your friends daughters and your granddaughters.

With that in mind I strive for perfection in each piece I design. I use only the best quality designer cotton fabrics that are soft and luxurious to the touch and are extremely durable. With skirts all seams are serged giving a professional finish. Each are truly a labor of love!

Her work is impeccable and completely adorable!

Along with her adorable skirts, Sweet Sapling also carried a huge variety of beautiful hair accessories.  They are different than most of the ones you see around they totally coordinate with her ruffle skirts.

Prize package #12 is a set of two sweet hair clips - winner's choice.
It'll be a tough choice - there are so many cute ones to choose from.

Check out Sweet Sapling on Facebook and also take a moment to visit her Etsy shop!

And last but definitely not least,
I'd like to introduce you to Mud Butt Cloth Diapers

Now quite honestly, I tend to choose convenience over everything - especially when it comes to diapering but a friend of mind introduced me to Mud Butt Cloth Diapers and I LOVE them!  They are the only diaper in my stash.

I really could go on and on about how much I love these diapers.  They don't leak, they are easy to wash and maintain and they are completely custom.  Generally Mud Butt Cloth Diapers doesn't have ready to ship diapers but you get to choose the fabric color/print as well as the snaps so each diaper is your own personal creation.  It's great! and a little addicting.  Check out the Mud Butt Cloth Diapers to order one or a dozen, for your little one's cute bottom.

Mud Butt Cloth Diapers carries a variety of eco-friendly items.  One of which is our final prize package.  During this colder season, every kid has a runny nose and here is the perfect item for their poor sensitive noses.

A six pack of their mulit-purpose wipes with an adorable bad to keep those boogers under control.

So as promised, I am offering one additional bonus entry for everyone.

To get this final entry, visit the Butterfly Designs Facebook page and share the post that is pinned to the top of the page.  In order to qualify for the bonus entry, your share must be public (so I can verify).
Once shared, you must also go the to the Rafflecopter link and get your final giveaway entry.

Once a again, thank you everyone who has participated in this great giveaway.

I can't wait to make 13 people's day tomorrow!

1000 Fan Giveaway - Candles for Hope & AnnDora Crafts

Phew!  We finally ended our game of "pass the virus" and I think everyone in my family is finally on the mend. What a week!

So now I have to squeeze in the last few sponsors.

First, Candles for Hope.

Candles for Hope is run by my wonderful sister in law.  After doing mission work in the Philippines, she started Candles of Hope as a way to raise funds and continue their support of a cause that is so dear to her heart.  You can read the story of her experience here.

By working with Mercy in Action, she is making an impact on the women and children in the Philippines.  100% of the profits from Candles for Hope go to Mercy in Action's emergency fund, to cover unexpected hospital bills for the poorest people in Ologapo, Philippines.  Additionally, Candles for Hope also sources all their beeswax locally so it also supports her local bee farmers.

As way to spread the word about the work of Candles for Hope, I have purchased a set of candles for the winner of prize package #10.
I hope that you will read Marlese's story and consider supporting Candles for Hope during this holiday gift giving season.

I'd also like to quickly introduce AnnDora Craft.

AnnDora Craft is run by Karla, who I just recently met.  She is an around creative person and I am LOVING her accessories.

You can check out her work on her Facebook page or head over to her Etsy Shop.
If you'd like to read more about Karla and her work, she was interview recently on Becky's Buttons blog.

Prize Package #11 is a Skinny T-shirt Bracelet from AnnDora Craft - winner chooses colors.

We have just a couple more sponsors to spotlight and tomorrow I will be announcing a bonus entry for everyone.  Stay tuned and good luck!

1000 Fan Giveaway - Sweet Pea Bow-tique

Phew!  We are over half way done and nearly 800 entries for the contest!  Thanks so much to everyone who is spreading the word and sharing with your friends. I would LOVE to get to 1000 entries so keep your eyes open for a BONUS entry on the last day.

Now I would love to introduce Sweet Pea Bow-tique.

As a mom to two boys, I missed out on all the girly girl stuff that makes having a girl so much fun.  Luckily, now that I am a foster parent, I get to experience the fun of frills, tulle and hair pretties!

One of my most favorite headbands came from Sweet Pea Bow-tique and I'm trilled that Mary Beth could join us in this giveaway.
I asked her to share a bit about herself and her business.

My name is Mary Beth.  I am a wife and a mother to two amazing children.   I am a hairstylist and the owner/creator of Sweet Pea Bow-tique, which opened in 2009.

As a hairstylist, I have always had a love for hair accessories, along with all things girly!  When my daughter was younger, I began looking for “something special” to put in her hair.  After much searching, I decided to make my own.  I have always been a pretty crafty person, so I thought I would give it a try.  A week later, I took a few of the hair bows  into the salon, and that day I got five bow orders.  Within the first few weeks, I had gotten several more orders and thus, Sweet Pea Bow-tique began.  My little project of accessorizing my daughter has now become a business that I am extremely proud of and thoroughly enjoy.

When I started Sweet Pea Bow-tique, I was only making hair bows.  I have since expanded to include several different styles of children’s headbands, adult headbands, baby and toddler hats, tutus, tutu dresses, fairy wings, fairy wands, hair bow holders, leg warmers, and bracelets.

I love making little girls feel like princesses, and to see the look on their face when they twirl around in their new tutu for the first time.  I absolutely love my job!

Isn't her work adorable?  I just love it!

Prize package #9 was generously donated by Sweet Pea Bow-tique.  It's sure to make any little girl feel like the princess that she is!

1000 Fan Giveaway - Sarah M Dorsey Designs

Introducing Sarah M Dorsey Designs!

I stumbled across Sarah's work on her Etsy site.  Her work is modern and smart - everything I love is a great graphic print.  I have ordered a couple myself and I can't wait to find the perfect place for them in my home.

I asked Sarah if she would introduce herself:

Hi I am Sarah.

and I love art and design!

In 2007 I graduated from Bridgewater College with a B.A. in Fine Arts and in 2010 I graduated from George Washington University with an M.F.A in Interior Design.

Together with my crazy/grand ideas and David's creativity and ability to figure them out, we love creating DIY projects to make our rental feel more like a home. And last but not least, our beagle/terrier, Annabelle is along for the ride (her favorite time is when we work on projects in the garage because she can sneak a nap on the bed!)

1000 Fan Giveaway - Say Anything Jewelry

Next I would like to introduce you to Say Anything Jewelry by Stephanie Wilde.

I met Stephanie by chance through her Etsy shop.  If you can believe it, I ordered a Christmas gift and later realized that we were both from Sioux Falls.  We connected a couple times a various craft fairs and have become quick friends.  As we have gotten to know each other the years she has inspired me over and over with her amazing jewelry pieces which are nothing less than works of art.

She has built a business by connecting with her customers and creating personalized statements in each piece. From the simple to the complex, she manages to bring a piece of herself into each item while expressing the customers own personal story.

My own pieces from her collection means so much to me.  My favorite piece is the charm bracelet that Stephanie has created for me. As foster parents, our family says good-bye to many kids and each one has a place in our hearts.  Each time we have to say goodbye to a child, I head over to Stephanie's shop and add another piece to my ever growing bracelet.  I LOVE wearing it and remembering and saying a prayer for each child.

Recently Stephanie has expanded her jewelry line to include some amazing new pieces.  You have to head over to her page and check it out.

Prize package #5 is a custom Initial Necklace from Say Anything Jewelry by Stephanie Wilde. It's the perfect everyday necklace that has personal touch only handmade jewelry can offer.

Another HUGE thanks to Say Anything Jewlery by Stephanie!
Best of luck and keep sharing the giveaway.
